On the left is Satomi from Japan. Satomi is here in Boston with her husband. And she is pregnant! She's almost 8 months pregnant and yet I just noticed she was pregnant maybe 2 weeks ago--apparently I am not very observant--and Satomi is very tiny.
On the right is one of our teachers--Amy. Amy is an artist and writer and does a lot of good work for the environment, etc. Tonight there is the opening reception for one of her art shows--which I will go to if I can because I'm really curious to see Amy's art work...Now Amy has a really interesting background also--she's American but her mother is from Korea (her father is from California--??)--so Amy has a lot in common with the Korean students.
